Privacy

Every tool here works on your own device. Your images are read, converted and saved by your browser and are never uploaded to Paul Digital or any other server. Text recognition also runs locally; its engine and English language data are served from this site rather than a third-party network.

Compatibility and honest limits

  • JPG, PNG, GIF, BMP and WebP files work in every current browser.
  • AVIF decoding needs Chrome 85+, Edge 121+, Firefox 93+ or Safari 16.4+. Older browsers get an error rather than a fake result.
  • HEIC is decoded natively in Safari and by a decoder that loads only on demand in other browsers. Some unusual HEIF variants cannot be decoded.
  • Converting to JPG fills transparency with white. PNG and WebP keep it. WebP output is unavailable in Safari.
  • Text recognition (OCR) supports printed English only, may make mistakes, and downloads about 8 MB the first time it runs.
  • Image to Word places pictures in a document; it does not make their text editable.
