About this tool

French builds 70 to 99 from twenty: soixante-dix (70), quatre-vingts (80), quatre-vingt-dix (90). Quatre-vingts and cents take an s only when nothing follows them.

Mille never takes an s, and 21, 31, 41, 51, 61 and 71 use “et un”. This page handles up to 12 digits.
